Deloraine is not far from Launceston where I live, it's a beautiful small rural town.
The river is the Meander River. We stopped in our caravan a few years back in autumn on these banks.
Wow!What an nice village! It is far from Tasmania though I see on the map!Must be nice travelling around like this :))
Deloraine is a lovely town, must visit again soon and take some more photos, just a drive.Always lovely to travel or go for a drive.
I'm sorry I missed this spot when we were staying in Launceston.
Pretty little town, down by the river is lovely and of course the highway by passes it that's why you missed it.
It looks an idyllic location and the trees are lovely.
Beautiful trees, some weep into the river.
There are so many health benefits when we are near a lake, a river or near the ocean. This would be a place I would visit often.
It is said by the sea/water is soothing.
Those reflections are glorious. There is something soothing about being close to water isn't there?
Yes there certainly is, it's peaceful.
So very pretty, the reflections are absolutely beautiful.
Thanks and it is lovely down by the river.
Deloraine is such a wonderful name and so is having a river called Meander. Sadly we never made time to see it.
Next time you may find time, have lunch and stroll along the river bank, nice pleasant walk on a beautiful day.
This does look like a lovely location from your posted photos, Margaret.
It is lovely there Beatrice.
Beautiful photos again, and another town I will put on my list to do, maybe next year. Tassie is such a great place with so many places I want to visit again.
Thanks Rosie. And here is scratching my head wondering where we can drive to next! :)
Thank you Margaret, these are truly lovely!
You are welcome and thank you.
It is nice to have a beautiful river nearby. Looks so calm and refreshing.
It is a good river, floods sometimes but hasn't of late.
Waters and bushes in your photos relax me.
