To Nagambie, Victoria

Called into Nagambie, Victoria to a bakery bought some very tasty Vanilla Slices for breakfast along with a few other things to eat.

There was a bus load of 'older Australians' who had come to visit the monument to Black Caviar.

Black Caviar is a retired Australian Thoroughbred racehorse undefeated in 25 races, including 15 Group One victories, eclipsing the previous mark set by Kingston Town. She was named WTRR World Champion Sprinter in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Black Caviar was born in Nagambie in 2006 in the State of Victoria, Australia.

Was a bleak winters windy morning. The lake is used for rowing.

When we arrived at Nagambie there was a thick fog over the lake as you can see, then all of a sudden it went and I was able to get a clear view.

This lake is used for rowing and was used for the Olympic Games some years back.

Nagambie was the first stop we had after coming off the ferry.  It was a surprise to see the monument for it wasn't there last year.
