Another holiday.

Off again for another holiday, be back in a few weeks.  Have to make the best of it whilst it's summer and Covid-19 free here in Tasmania, we just don't know what the future will bring or be.

Please be safe and take care whilst I'm gone.

The photo is of the Tamar River which is accessible about 5 minutes from the city of Launceston, Tasmania.

A sunset in Huonville, Tasmania

Several nights there was a decent sunset one could view, this is one that I just happened to view, so hence the photo.

In the caravan 'Poppy' always has a few lollies hidden away in a drawer, the grandchildren know this :) so one morning Miss E came for a visit and Poppy gave her a few, so she put them in their colours and then in a packet - yes, she had clean hands, a must :)

Cherries were $7.00 a kilo which is very cheap and they were beautiful. We bought these on our way back from Geeveston which is a town south of Huonville.

Down the road upon entry to the town of Geeveston is this log...just click on the image and the text can be read easier.

Huonville, Tasmania

The Cricket and football ground, grandstand and change rooms at Huonville.  Next door is a swimming pool.  Then we have the War Memorial which is a lovely one.

Miss E with a Christmas Beetle, we don't often see one of these.

Children going to the beach/river.

We called into Ross in the midlands on the way home to buy a Scallop Pie and Vanilla Slice - yummy.

Reflections

A series of reflection on Mountain River which is a tidal river that runs off the Huon River in Huonville, Tasmania. The river runs through the caravan park and it's where the family kayaked.

Kayaking on the river.

Eldest son R and his E aged 8, Z aged 6 on the river in the caravan park.  Most days were suitable for Kayaking.

E forever the poser gave me a lovely smile as she went passed.
