Bridesmaids at Maroochydore, Queensland.

The Bridesmaids.
There was a Wedding at Picnic Point here in Maroochydore on Saturday at 2pm.  The bride was late and the ceremony took place up around the corner.  The bride stayed in another apartment, the bridesmaids were staying in the apartment complex where we are along with the groomsmen.....So I leaned over the balcony and took this photo, the women were looking at another women walking by.  I wondered what they were thinking and saying!

The View from the Residence.

Yesterday I looked out the window and saw the sunset so took these photos of it and the Maroochy River here on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.  These photos were taken from the balcony.

The above photo I took last year a month earlier.

Over looking the Maroochy River, Sunshine Coast, Queensland

Stayed over looking the Maroochy River at Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland on our recent holiday. Each Apartment is self contained and ours had two bathrooms, one for me and one for 'him'. The Apartments all face north so hence we had lots of sun plus a lovely balcony.

Up on the roof under cover there are spas and barbecues and one of the spas was being replaced with a crane lifting it into place.

Someone sailing by, written on the sail, Hobbie Island :)

On an odd occasion a plane flew overhead, I managed to capture this one.

Busy Times!

Very busy few weeks on the Sunshine Coast.
A Wedding, catching up with family, having a wonderful time with 3 of our grandchildren & their parents. Also catching up with friends from home who now live in and around this area.
Driving here and there with a little shopping in between, plus another busy week ahead with the heater on every night, infact it's been colder than where we live. (at night only)  When all said and done it is 'winter'.
The beach is across the road, we have a swimming pool here at the Apartment.

The Maroochy River

The Big Pineapple, Nambour.  Queensland.
This was left to ruin and has now been restored with a train ride and market at the site thus far.
There was a pineapple orchard there once, and I can remember it was a great tourist attraction.
