Forth, Tasmania

Forth is a small village about 110 km from home (Launceston).  It's a rural town with the Forth River running into Bass Strait.
These photos were taken in 2015 from a hill over looking the Forth River, town, Highway and some farming land - crops.
The Forth River in the foreground of the first photo.

A house on a hill on the way to Forth - great view of Bass Straight.
The marker shows Forth in Tasmania.

    1. It is an excellent view, there are a few houses near by, so the view they have is what you see.

    1. You are welcome. Mostly show photos of other States and Territories so it's good to show Tasmania, well part of it.

  6. I am quite sure that many people have learned more about Tasmania from your blog than they ever knew before, and from any other source. It is a great service that you are providing to your state. There should be an award for this kind if reporting.

    1. I'm sure as well David, as many people would have once wondered where Tasmania was, and if they did it's just a dot on the World map but such a beautiful place to live.
Thank you for your kind words :)
