The first two photos were taken with my phone, remainder with the camera on the wrong setting which I didn't realize until we had left Arthur River.
Arthur River is on the West Coast of Tasmania, Australia and it's a pretty place with about 120 or so people. It's a quiet little town and many people have shacks there.
One can go on a boat trip down the river for the beautiful views of the wilderness and go walking and have lunch as the trip is a guided tour.
The first photo is the mooring for the Cruise boat.
Second photo is the bridge at Arthur River with the river leading to the sea, the Southern Ocean where the logs from the trees used to flow up the river to the sea.
Those photos are beautiful! The 2nd one is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteThanks Angie.
DeletePretty priver and landscape My favorite photo is the next to last one, I love the view those people are seeing. Great sky too.
ReplyDeleteNot many people there but when I saw them they were included as they were looking towards Argentina I expect.
DeleteInteresting cloud formations - the last one looks as if it just might rain, but I suspect that it didn't.
ReplyDeleteNo it didn't rain that day Rosemary and was not too windy there.
DeleteYou do showcase your State beautifully. Flow up river to the sea? Down surely.
ReplyDeleteLOL EC. Flow down the river, flow up the river - doesn't matter the water gets there anyway to the sea :)
DeleteHace buenas fotos tu teléfono. Me gustan las fotografías que has tomado.
ReplyDeleteBesos
Thanks.
DeleteLindas fotos, amo lugares assim.
ReplyDeletebjs
Thanks.
DeleteThe red in the rocks in the last couple of photos is interesting. I wonder what makes the colour.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't have a clue Andrew, did look it up couldn't find anything.
DeleteI love the two contrasting photos - the little red ponton and the majestic bridge. Lucky river! It has it all: people, boats, bridge, beautiful sky above.
ReplyDeleteYes that river sure does have a lot going for it Duta.
DeleteSuch lovely photos
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo-Anne.
DeleteBellas fotografías me gusta conocer lugares nuevos . Te mando un beso
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to know new places in this world.

Thanks for reminding us of our boat trip on the Arthur River. It was a great day. Lovely scenes. I was amazed at all the logs in the river and washed up on the beach.
ReplyDeleteMany logs, not as many as there used to be Diane.
DeleteIf those are on the wrong setting, let me know what that is! Nice pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Somehow I turned the A the wrong way and I didn't know.
DeleteMagníficos estes planos fotográficos.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.

ReplyDeleteBest regards.
Thank you and you are welcome.
DeleteIs there a photographer alive who has not taken a whole bunch of pictures with the camera on the wrong setting? Or left home without a memory card?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure many do just as you say, though I've never left home without a memory card as yet.
DeleteAlthough they are all good, the second photograph is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy month of June.
Where is the year going? It seems to be passing by so quickly.
All the best Jan
The new modern bridge, it's good to drive over.
