At Wynyard

Wynyard is a lovely place, it's friendly and clean.  It's along the north west coast of Tasmania, Australia.

The first photo is of part of the caravan park we always stay in in Wynyard, we stayed just over a week the last time we stayed there.  The owners house is straight ahead. Two photos after the 1st is what comes up on the beach and what is in the sea water just a few steps away, then my foot.  Well I don't always have a paddle in the sea :)

Below, we discovered another beach up the road so had to visit and discovered that some people park their vehicles on the beach.

We sometimes buy a snack at the place where the black sign is and this children's playground is only new with plenty of parking. It over looks the sea.

    1. Angie, our beaches are nearly always empty :) no matter what time of year. Though I must admit during school holidays the summer ones there are more people. We have so many beaches.

    1. There is a wonderful walkway along the beach and many people use it on a nice day so we discovered. Yes, the children flock to the new playground.

  3. It does look lovely - though I would always prefer that people didn't part (or drive) on the beach. Emergency vehicles excepted of course.

    1. There are a couple of beaches in that area EC, children and families usually go to another beach, not the one where the cars park on the sand, apparently it's not that safe there to swim.

  4. en las fotos se ve la playa muy solitaria. También en el parque de caravanas se ve la zona vacía.

    1. That caravan park was full before I took these photos. Travellers come in the afternoon, often stop one night then drive off the next morning thus emptying the caravan park. Some people of course stay longer. Summer time it's busier.

  5. А какая сейчас у вас погода?
Зима в Тасмании - это холодно?
    Понравились оборудованные площадки для машин.
    Это частная стоянка?
А какие удобства предоставляются на стоянке?

    1. Winter weather to us is a bit cold :) temperature where I live is from usually between 9deg C to 16 deg C during the day right in winter, night time it's often 2 deg C to 9 deg C can go cooler just as the sunrises as in -2 deg C.
The caravan park is a private one.
Where the cars park for the playground, there are toilets and a food shop.

  6. While we only stopped there for lunch, I remember it as being very flat and a pleasant area.

  7. The caravan brings you to such lovely places! Pity people park on the beach and spoil the view.

    1. That part of the beach it's ok to park there as not many people go to that particular beach as I believe it's not safe to swim there.
The caravan affords us to stay in places that we find interesting to us for longer periods of time.

  8. With your caravan, you can visit so many interesting places and there is no place you cannot visit. The caravan park is well maintained and clean. The beach is beautiful too. Have a wonderful week.

    1. Many people say similar, it's good to travel other areas of Australia to see what is there and what's it like compared to Tasmania, Australia.
