The National Heritage and Water Park in Goondiwindi was opened in 2004 and offers plenty of activities for all ages. The purpose built 3km water channel provides great opportunities for water sports of all kinds including waterskiing, wakeboarding, canoeing and boating. It's also the perfect place to view the vast bird life, have a picnic on the lawn or swim at the 'designated' area.

When there last year the water was very low and didn't look good - don't think I would like to swim in that water. There were change rooms and toilets plus seating undercover.

Looks like a great place for a stroll. I do hope the water will improve soon. It's a good place to swim or just soak ones feet. Thanks for sharing.
