Swans in Richmond.

A few swans at Richmond Tasmania, Australia.
These swans were rather tame.  The bridge is still used and was built by convicts in 1823.
The big tree in the last photo turns colour in the autumn, we were there this autumn but too early for the colour change.

  7. I really like this bridge. Black swans look like swans from a slightly mysterious fairy tale. We don't have black ones so I think they are very exotic ones. We have only white ones.

    1. Can understand that about black swans, sure I would think the same if I saw a white one here.

  10. Historic bridge equals human visitors equals humans feeding swans, a good place for them to hang out.

    1. True.
I was amazed that one could feed the swans and ducks there, we as in our city you can't do that.

  13. Swans and a fine bridge-- And very well caught by you. By the way, there's this 90 year old Australian bozo who's married to one of Mick Jagger's ex's. Could we send him back to you.

  16. Belle foto complimenti Margaret, posti molto belli, i ponti anchiti costruiti reggono sempre a differenza di quelli moderni che durano poco, causando disastri. Ciao e buon fine settimana, un abbraccio Angelo.

  18. Thanks Maria, not easy to get a photo of the black swans as some can be aggressive, others swim away.

  19. I also love the red-billed black swan and geese I have never seen for real. The goose in my country has only white hair with a yellow beak. The pictures are beautiful, Margaret.

    Have a super week!

  20. Buen avistaamiento de aves. Deben de ser muy mansas porque se hayan acostumbrado a la presencia humana.
