Bought another Scallop Pie and took it to the picnic area next to the Huon River. The pie was ever so hot, in fact I didn't think that scallops could be so hot.
Second photo is the Huon River, then we have 'foam' at the caravan park for the children, the machine makes this soapy foam and the children roll, laugh, slip and slide down the small hill.
You think the pie was microwaved perhaps?
ReplyDeleteNo it wasn't David. The Scallop pie was in glass heater with doors and slide out trays so one could choose which pie was needed. Easy to see in with glass :)
DeleteNice sort of foam.
ReplyDeleteLooked good that foam and great fun for the children.
DeleteBoth the pie and the Huon river, look appealing.
ReplyDeleteLovely scenery down that way Duta.
DeleteAnd another beautiful day (in a beautiful place).
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful day we had many then it got a bit cold, then it came out lovely again.
DeleteWe don’t have foam for children that I’ve seen. Looks like a lot of fun and similar to the fun snow piles we have. I’d love to taste that pie. Maybe I’ll try to find a recipe.
ReplyDeleteProbably is similar to snow fun, and I've never seen foam for children in any other place but may not have been there when it might have been used.
DeleteGorgeous pie. I should imagine it would be easy to make those pies.
Your Scallop Pie looked delicious.
ReplyDeleteThe second photo of the Huon River is fantastic.
Happy Mothers Day
It was very delicious Maria.
DeleteThank you.
The scallop pie looks very good. Fun foam for the kids, I bet they love it.
ReplyDeleteThe children were laughing so much as we watched then, so good to hear their laughter and making memories.
DeleteThe pie was wonderful.
Feliz semana Margaret. Muchos besos.
ReplyDeleteThanks Teresa.
DeleteThe foam parties I can remember were indoors and rather different to the one you show.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of a foam party Andrew.
DeleteJust a delicious pie.
ReplyDeleteNice
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo-Anne.
DeleteLovely, I thought first that the soap foam is snow. Looks very fun. I'm sure the foam is similar to snow games - but not as cold (or you don't wear so many clothes on :)
ReplyDeleteWell the foam does look like snow. For the foam not so many clothes, sometimes the children just wear their bathers, depends how warm it is.
DeleteThat pie looks delicious and I think I would enjoy one as I like all seafood. The foam looks like fun for the kids, never seen it before.
ReplyDeleteI love seafood, we eat a fair bit of it, fish shop just down the road.
DeleteThe children love the foam, and I'm sure a shower is required after it.
You sure do discover things that are fun!
ReplyDeleteThat's true, only wish I was young enough to join in.
DeleteThe pint of the cake is very appetizing, Margaret here on the paths of pilgrims who take to Santiago de Compostela where is the tomb of the apostol Santiago to the shell of the Vieira is the symbol of the pilgrim, they used it to drink water on their way and became its symbol.
ReplyDeleteNice park.
Happy week.
Best regards.
Thank you for that Jose.
DeleteYummy scallop pie. Beautiful view of the river. Playing with foam sounds like a great fun even for adults. Lol!
ReplyDeleteDidn't see any adults joining in but I suppose they do and have fun too.
DeleteBelas e "saborosas" fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.

Thank you Francisco.
DeleteVery pleasant place.
ReplyDeleteI would play with foam!!! Never seen it here for kids.
It would be fun.
DeleteI suppose foam play is not a common thing to do.
It's ages since I've had scallops...I think it might be about time I rectified the situation!
ReplyDeleteDear Margaret! Scallop pie looks amazing.
