This year we stayed in a different area of the caravan park and so was treated to seeing Kangaroos who were easily frightened away, so from some distance I took these photos.
The bird below came to visit each day.
Towards sunset the above photo, below is a shopping mall though small had several interesting shop inside.
Kangaroos evoke great memories for me.
ReplyDeleteWell that is wonderful. I love to see them in their natural habitat.
DeleteLovely shots!!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteGreat photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sussi
DeleteVery good pictures. I have never seen a roo up close.
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased you could see them in my photos but also different in reality.
DeleteThat is one VERY full pouch.
ReplyDeleteLove the magpie - and the skies.
Mighty full and must be heavy also, but mum would be used to it.
DeleteThanks.
The first photo conceals the joey in a very large bulge. Great magpie shot. The shopping centre looks just like any in the suburbs.
ReplyDeleteThat shopping centre was ever so small though, I'm sure most are a bit larger.
DeleteThanks regarding the magpie, was easy to take as it was still often which is unusual.
Seems to me those Joeys stay in the pouch far too long but whom am I to say, it's nature.
I really liked the photo of the kangaroo and joey
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo-Anne.
DeleteThat's a long way from home. I like the bird, almost looks like a magpie, but not enough white.
ReplyDelete'Tis a very long way from home, but it's all good as you do see a lot when you travel in the vehicle see much more than in a plane.
DeleteMight be a different type of magpie.
Mrs Roo and baby is sure lovely.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
They are cuties really, inquisitive really.
DeleteI love the kangaroos, absolutely! And I love that bird! My thoughts you wondered about have to do with the orange sickness that pervades my homeland these days. I'm still hopeful that we will all feel lots better eventually.
ReplyDeleteThey are a lovely creature and have such sweet faces.
DeleteThe bird was quite tame, we enjoyed it's company each day.
Thanks for the reply on my question - let's hope all is much improved for the future and that you all do feel much improved :)
Hello Margaret,
ReplyDeleteYou had found a nice place. Wonderful to see these kangaroos. And then also with his youngster in the pouch. Totally fantastic.
Best regards,
Marco
It's wonderful for me to see them also Marco, I live in the city and we don't see them unless we go to the bush.
DeleteLos canguros son unos simpáticos animales, para verlos en mi país haría que ir a un zoológico.
ReplyDeleteBesos
Can understand that you would have to visit the zoo to see them where you are, here they just hop around mostly in the country area.
DeleteWhat great photos of the mama and Joey. It must have been quite a treat to watch them grazing and moving about.
ReplyDeleteIt was wonderful to watch them, they fascinate me :)
DeleteI hope you had a good Christmas
ReplyDeleteYes I/we did thanks Adam, and sure hope you did too.
DeleteI enjoyed all of your photographs but just loved seeing the kangaroos.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thanks Jan, just something about the kangaroos :)
DeleteHappy Holidays! 🎄
ReplyDeleteThanks John and the same to you.
DeleteLovely Roos and the one of the Black Bird, beautiful. Looks like a Magpie?
ReplyDeleteBirds looks like a magpie, a different variety I expect.
DeleteI always wanted to see the kangaroos from close dear Margaret
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing these lovely images
Sunset pic is just GORGEOUS!
Black bird with red eyes resembles crow here
