I do believe they are as the humans are further towards to the sea, and there is a playground beyond the bridge for the children on the same side as I was taking the photo.
If a child comes along the ducks fly off or swim where the children can't get at them, but parents are usually good calling their children away from the ducks.
No David, it's always quiet there, lots of green grass which is cut when necessary and the children's playground is up the other end of the area, lots of rubbish bins towards the playground, never seen rubbish lying about in that particular area which is amazing.
Oh, ducks! I love birds and bridges. Margaret, I've got a question about English language. Is there any difference between words "harbour" and "creek"? Or they're the same?
Harbour means: a place on the coast where ships may moor in shelter, especially one protected from rough water by piers, jetties, and other artificial structures. Creek means: a narrow, sheltered waterway, especially an inlet in a shoreline or channel in a marsh. "a sandy beach in a sheltered creek" Yes, so there is a big difference....hope that helps :)
very nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteI hope the birds are safe when the humans move in each summer.

DeleteThe creek is very straight as it meets the sea.
ReplyDeleteIt is, good stroll if you can walk a straight line.
DeleteThe white duck with the wood ducks - doesn't look like a Muscovy!
ReplyDeleteI am sure the ducks are quite safe from the humans.
Cheers

Very peaceful Donna, can just hear the waves from the sea gently coming in.
DeleteI bet the tranquility disappears when the humans move in with their noise, fumes and trash.
