Tynwald Park in New Norfolk is a large area with a few Soccer fields, football oval, playground and picnic areas. We ventured there on a rainy day from the Caravan Park,
The photos are of part of the view there which includes the River Derwent.
Mea culpa re: the time of this visit. I thought it was just in the last few weeks or so. I don't think that shoe/runner had much life left in it. Colin
At the winder part of the river it's much cleaner the water but it was dreadful that day after the rain, I expect that bit of river in the photo was an off shoot to the main river and eventually went into the main..
A very green landscape.
ReplyDeleteOops... someone lost a shoe1
Oh yes they did lose a shoe and it's only bit of rubbish that we came across.
DeleteJa schön grün ist alles am Fluss ist zu sehen das es geregnet hat.

It had poured with rain all night and morning so lucky it fined up for the afternoon.
DeleteA beautiful park!
ReplyDeleteA park that has many things.
DeleteI am sure it was a pleasant visit even on a rainy day.
ReplyDeleteIt was, once caravans were permitted to stay there for the night, but not anymore.
Deletelooks great
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteThere's a small park near where we live with a stream similar to the one in your photos. It's smaller, very nice.
ReplyDeleteAlways lovely to have a park near by.
DeleteIt looks like a delightful park. I feel for the owner of that shoe though.
ReplyDeleteWell have no idea why that shoe would be there, maybe they were wearing thongs (feet)..lol and were carrying shoes in a bad and one fell out!
DeleteSuch a lovely place
ReplyDeleteIt is a good place Jo-Anne.

Colin
Back in March Colin it was.
DeleteThe Derwent is a similar colour to our Yarra River. Maybe it was stirred up by rain run off.

ReplyDeleteThere was a lot of rain back in March, made quite a bog at the caravan park.
DeleteBeautiful rose for your header. Nice landscape of the park and lake. Someone went home with one shoe missing.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nancy, the rose is a camellia growing up the side of our house, sheltered..
