The Park

Tynwald Park in New Norfolk is a large area with  a few Soccer fields, football oval, playground and picnic areas.  We ventured there on a rainy day from the Caravan Park,
The photos are of part of the view there which includes the River Derwent.

    1. It was, once caravans were permitted to stay there for the night, but not anymore.

  4. There's a small park near where we live with a stream similar to the one in your photos. It's smaller, very nice.

  6. Mea culpa re: the time of this visit. I thought it was just in the last few weeks or so.
I don't think that shoe/runner had much life left in it.

  7. The Derwent is a similar colour to our Yarra River. Maybe it was stirred up by rain run off.

    1. At the winder part of the river it's much cleaner the water but it was dreadful that day after the rain, I expect that bit of river in the photo was an off shoot to the main river and eventually went into the main..
