Point Vernon, Queensland

From Bundaberg we travelled to Hervey Bay where we stayed several days.
During our visit we went to Point Vernon not far from Hervey Bay.
These are a few photos taken there in the evening time last year in winter.

This bay is called Gatakers Bay.

      Lovely and quiet there at that time of night. All you hear was the sea even though it was calm.

    That is very, very dry for Queensland. Beautiful scenery just the same.

      Was dry but a lot of sand mixed with soil thus no holding of moisture.

    It was such beautiful soft light when you took the photos. Early morning photos can look harsh.

      It's wasn't that dry there Bob, it's just sand and sand mixed with a bit of dirt.
