On the way back to the caravan park in winter 2019 we came across the Ferris wheel with it's colourful lights just turned on. It was school holidays so hence the Ferris wheel.
Below the beach in front of the caravan park looking both ways. So a few steps from the caravan to the beach.
It appears that some of my photos have gone from the blog - they might reappear, well hopefully they do as I didn't remove them. Must be blogspot-Google gone mad!...lol
Hello Margaret,
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. So nice to see these lovely places on the beach. Nice with the pelicans.
And a nice picture of that Ferris wheel. So nice!!
Best regards,
Marco
Wintertime in many areas of Australia for the beach is good for those of us who live south.
DeleteBeautiful photos, Margaret. I'm missing photos too as are other bloggers. Hopefully the issue will be fixed.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!
Thanks Bill.
DeleteOh ok about missing photos, pleased you told me for now I know :)
Besos
I'm sure we will all eventually get to the beaches.
DeleteThanks for telling me about the missing photos.
It does look lovely. I would pass on the Ferris wheel, but the beach and the pier do look inviting.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't feel inclined to go on that Ferris wheel either. Think I've only ever been on one in my life and that was Luna Park in Melbourne many years ago.
DeleteLovely walking down that pier, there are a few along that beach.
Otro bonito lugar nos ofreces, Margaret. ¡Me gusta ese rincón!
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
Thanks Jordi. The sea and beach photos are to me always nice to see.
DeleteBeautiful photos
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo-Anne.
DeleteVery very blue and what a nice little pier.
ReplyDeleteWinter in the north, usually that blue and always good to see.
DeleteSweet pier, there are a few along that beach plus the real long one in another post from last year I reckon.
That's how I love a beach....deserted. :)
ReplyDeletePretty much deserted are most of the beaches in winter up or down that way even with holiday makers.
DeleteTasmanian beaches always look deserted in summer because we have so many beaches and fewer people.
Wonderful beaches I like the pier and the ferris wheel too.
ReplyDeleteMerle.........
The lights on the Ferris wheel were colourful, pastel then bright colours, couldn't wait till it got dark because I had to cook dinner...always thinking of my stomach I expect, well sometimes :)
DeleteThanks Agnieszka.
ReplyDeleteI love that first one with the Pelicans.
ReplyDelete
DeleteThanks.
Great to see those Australian Pelicans out on the water.
ReplyDelete'Tis indeed. Remember sitting under a tall light whilst up that way one year and not realising a pelican was up above dozing.
DeleteMuy bella serie de imagenes, amiga
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteMuy lindas fotografías. Besos.
