At the edge of the Desert in Western Australia we went looking for Wildflowers near a place called Carnarvan in that State. How delighted we were to come across the flowers that I'm showing. Somewhere there is always a flower in bloom. These were taken in the springtime.
Sehr schöne Blumen und Blüten sind in der Natur an vielen Stellen zu finden.

Noke
That is true Noke, nature is amazing at times.
DeleteI've heard of the wildflowers out there and would love to see them myself one year.
ReplyDeleteApparently some years are better than others, R. Hope you do get to see them.
DeleteBeautiful place, absolutely lovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne.
DeleteThe map shows what looks like a very substantial desert. As do a few of your photos. Yet at the right time and the right place, the ground is covered by a sea of wildflowers.
ReplyDeleteSuch is nature, so amazing Hels.
DeleteMargaret, apparently in a semi-arid area, nature gives us colors to beautify her.
ReplyDeleteIndeed nature does, Norma. Always something in flower somewhere.
DeleteHow beautiful are those wild flowers!
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely to see in person Angie, one minute just reddish ground, then next wild flowers in the right season.
DeleteOne of my sisters in law went to the 'Red Centre' just after rain. There were apparently wild flowers as far as the eye could see. Unbelievably she was disappointed - not what she went expecting to see.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what she expected even though she wasn't expecting to find wildflowers. Maybe she expected to see more variety or something. Never been to the 'red centre' when it's rained but they say it's beautiful.
DeleteBeautiful flowers in a beautiful desert,
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are Liam.
DeleteIt's such a wide vast area but good to see so much colour.
ReplyDeleteIt's a huge area and at the right time of year some of it full of flowers.
DeleteWhat a beautiful place, wide open and lots of flowers.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely wide open spaces there Bill with lovely colours.
DeleteI would have liked to see the WA wildflowers but it won't happen now. It was autumn when we visited.
ReplyDeleteHaven't been in autumn, mostly mid to late winter and spring for us. They are worth seeing after seeing just hills once in awhile and red sandy/dirt, Andrew.
DeleteWonderful flowers and scenery! Is that you? Great to see you if it is and I love your outfit. Thanks for the great map also. I will be looking up the town later :)
ReplyDeleteYes Denise, that is me, a younger me :) You are welcome re map..makes it easier for all if they know where I am or have been.
DeleteLovely selection of wild flowers each one is new to me.
ReplyDeleteWell there you go Rosemary, new flowers for you and the white ones when you touch them they sound like paper.
DeleteIncredible - so barren but with fantastic wildflowers.
ReplyDeleteThe wonders of our amazing country.
Lets hope that that "peanut" in Washington does see them.
He'll want them - ha ha.
Cheers
Colin
PS: More damn rain here - bucketed down last night.
We live in a beautiful country as nature goes Colin.
DeleteYes, he might want them, that man!
Rain, goodness me you have had a lot but it's your rainy time still and we have had no rain, everything is so dry.
Love these post boxes!
ReplyDeleteDifferent they are and with the hill behind them, make them look nicer.
DeleteIt's such an expanse the views are amazing.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers and I'm assuming that's you in the photograph?
It's a very nice photograph and I like your outfit.
All the best Jan
Yes Jan, that is me somewhat younger. Believe it or not I still have that skirt and wear it. Thank you Jan.
DeleteBellas flores. Me gusto la primera foto. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteThey are and thank you, I don't know what those flowers are called.
DeleteQuerido amiga, hermosa selección de flores silvestres, maravillosas fotografías, gracias por compartirla.
ReplyDeleteTe dejo todo mi cariño y besos, que Dios te bendiga

Thank you. You are welcome.
DeleteWhat beautiful wild flowers these are.
ReplyDeleteI also think it's a beautiful area.
Greetings Irma
Thank you Irma, it's a different kind of a place.
DeleteDesert flower have a unique appeal, and somehow seem especially beautiful. Perhaps it’s because of the harsh conditions they have to contend with.
ReplyDeleteThat's true re harsh conditions, also the red sand/soil/bulldust one wonders how they bloom at all, then they look lovely in the areas that they are because of the terrain.
DeleteSO much beauty there!! Wow!
ReplyDeletehugs
Donna
They are lovely Donna.
DeleteThe vastness of the desert is so impressive, and so are the flowers you found... and it's wonderful when they appear in a sea of flowers.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the beautiful photo of you, the skirt is so beautiful... I would love to sew the skirt for meyselv right away:-)))
Lots of love to you from Viola
Thank you Viola. The skirt being striped and has 4 panels so the stripes don't match, makes it look a bit dramatic.
DeleteOh my goodness, so pretty. The flowers are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThey are nice in a mass display.
DeleteAmazing to see. Lovely clicks
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteThat much be an amazing drive, those flowers really brighten up the landscape!
ReplyDeleteVery long drive all the way with only a few towns in between, and barren is the landscape and to come across flowers is amazing to see.
DeleteÉ a natureza no seu melhor. Viva a Primavera!
ReplyDeleteContinuação de boa semana.
Abraço de amizade.
Juvenal Nunes
It sure is nature at it's best Junenal. Thank you and you too.
