Cairns up in the tropics of Australia is a good place for a holiday. Many things to see and do if you love scenery. We've been there several times and stayed in the same caravan park each time. This caravan park has some beautiful plants in their garden, here in Tasmania we mostly have them indoors as do other places in Australia. I don't recall all the names, but do enjoy the colours.
Really beautiful flowers. A few of the flowers look familiar. They are also for sale here.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful grown in their natural habitat Anne, we can grow most of them here but indoors.
DeleteImagino terem sido umas férias maravilhosas. Fotos lindas.

DeleteMorton bay fig tree is so good to see
ReplyDeleteThey are very interesting, one town we went to they were growing in the street and had such an amazing root system.
DeleteThese are gorgeous flowers Margaret, beautifully taken. I don't know if I have ever told you this, but my favorite holidays when I was young was going back to this one caravan park on the ocean down in Devon, year after year, before we actually moved down there. I always loved feeding the seagulls through the window in the roof. Great memories and thanks for these beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteLovely memory there Denise of your holidays. It just takes some small thing sometimes to remember a good memory.
DeleteThank you.
Thanks for sharing those. I really like the flowers.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome Mary, I love flowers too.

ReplyDeleteYes that one is a lovely plant, JP.
DeleteThank you.
The tropics are wonderful...in winter time. There are so many plants alien to us southerners.
ReplyDeleteAlways nice and warm in the tropics for winter Andrew, the best time to travel there. There plants they grow outside are certainly different what we can grow outside.
DeleteLovely flowers - they are all growing here where I live.
ReplyDeletePhoto #5 - the tree - the gardener here trimmed my tree yesterday.
My God they can grow quickly!
Cheers
Colin
Terrigal Weather - dreary today but yesterday was perfect - nice and warm
but the surf was rough and dirty!!! Only a couple of people in.
The palms, now they do make a mess at times outside but they are rather nice before they get too tall.
DeleteRought weather then it seems Colin, today is a beautiful day here, yesterday we had a good steady rain, good for the lawns and garden.
Some very colourful flowers.
ReplyDeleteI like the Christmas Baubles in your header and on the post.
All the best Jan
Thank you Jan.
DeleteThey're beautiful, I recognise a couple from my years in Brisbane, but I've never been to Cairns.
ReplyDeleteI think most of the plants can be grown in the southern areas in the right place outside and of course only some inside. Cairns is rather nice, we always enjoyed our holidays there and above Cairns too.
DeleteLovely leaves and flowers-- capped off by bright, shiny signs of the season. What more could you want?
ReplyDeleteNot much more Bill. Flowers usually bring joy.
DeleteBellas imagenes de plantas, amiga
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ildefonso.
