Magnolias

That time of year and the Magnolias are out in full force.  This one is at home.







Below is Margaret Davis Camellia which is growing up the side of our house.

    1. Me too. Just need a big wind to come and they will be all gone, flowers that is.
      Nice old home in Ross is the header.

  3. Beautiful things. How I wish we could grow them. We have made several attempts but the sulphur crested vandals have destroyed them.

  8. The beauty of the magnolia display is so brief, yet so much anticipated. I have been lazy this year and not taken any magnolia photos. Our have pretty well finished I think.

    1. Just need the wind to come along and the flowers are all gone, so far so good Andrew. Can understand that Andrew, we are not always in the right frame of mind sometimes to take flowers or anything for that matter.

    1. Thank you. I used to paint flowers onto earthern ware pots back in the day, (a long time ago) and used to sell them.
