Apollo Bay, Victoria

Remember coming around a bit of a windy road and all of a sudden seeing this view, the rolling hills near down to the sea.  The area is Apollo Bay in the State of Victoria on the way back from South Australia.

Funny weather in Tasmania - Snow in November, late spring just amazing.  Photo taken out the family room window you can just see snow on Ben Lomond over 1 hour drive from home.  Last week is was 29degC.

  7. The green hills near Beech Forest are lovely always. Apart from the 5 official waterfalls listed in tourist websites, there are over 11 unseen falls around. I used to venture the areas until I got frightened to see snakes lurking around me too often

    1. How beautiful, so many waterfalls that not many know about, must admit I didn't. Yes, not safe with so many snakes in the bush there.

  8. Fantastic scenery and what an incredible view you have. We are just getting into more normal weather over here for November. I am having a cup of tea to get the chill out of my bones :)

    1. Odd weather indeed and yes, late spring but that's the southern area of Australia, even inland in the mountains in NSW and Vic there was also snow.
