The Tamar River is a tidal river here in Launceston. It's not a pretty river when the tide is out due to silt.
We went for a drive the other day, it was rather a cool morning after lots of rain so I made lunch and we took off for a drive, firstly down the eastern side then the part of the western side of the Tamar River.
These photos were taken with my phone and I'm very pleased with them.
That's a very pretty river! Those photos are amazing, and I love no.4 and 5 particularly.
ReplyDeleteThanks Angie...nice when the tide is in.

Thanks, I wouldn't have taken any photos if the tide hadn't been in..there is so much silt in some of the areas.

DeleteGreat shots that bring back happy memories for me. That silt is full of life.
ReplyDeleteOh yes you would have seen the silt in full bloom..the tide bring so many things to life coming and going. I don't recall many people thinking about life in the silt, they just want the silt gone.
DeleteYour phone did a great job, Margaret, and what lovely imagery it captured for you to share with us.
ReplyDeleteThanks Beatrice. Hopefully the next phone I purchase will be much improved in the camera department but that won't be until about this time next year.
DeleteAmazing Captures - Delightful Clouds For The Moment

Clouds make so much different to reflections than just a pure blue sky.
