Home again!

Sure hope everyone had a wonderful safe Easter.

Returned home after a week away down south of the Island.
Had a great time and bought a new laptop the day before we left.

Autumn is in full swing, was lucky to get a few autumn photos - here are two of them, both taken at a place called Ross. We must remember that Tasmanian trees do not change colour in autumn (execpt one) so those that do are introduced trees.

  2. We have been so dry that our autumnal colour is more subdued than usual. Love seeing yours, and glad you had a good trip away.

Weather plays a big part in our autumn colours - some years our leave hardly turn.

    1. There wasn't a rush Andrew, but when you go and collect your old laptop you have to buy a new one - don't you! :)

  4. Fall colours are part of the Canadian psyche! The very symbol on our flag is a maple leaf when it has turned red.

    1. Very different from ours in your homeland David, our temperate climate doesn't have such colour as you do.

  12. Welcome home! I had no idea there are no native deciduous trees in Tasmania. You would miss the fall colors if not for the imports i think.

    1. Just one deciduous tree which is found in the mountains in a certain area and the leaves are only small, have seen it many years ago.
Our climate is temperate so hence no great change.
Thanks for the welcome home :)
