Boat Harbour Beach.

Boat Harbour is east of Stanley, so on our way to Wynyard we called in.
The Beach area has a Surf Club and a lovely Cafe.
It's a pretty little place with about 350 people and a windy road down into the Boat Harbour beach.
The day wasn't the best for photography, the last photo was taken another we visited and it was a clearer day.
Around where the stones are in the photo caravan park for free in that area but the Boat Harbour council has stopped that apparently. Once when the children were small we rented a holiday house for a couple of weeks at Boat Harbour.  The sand is magic, like silk and is so very fine.

    1. It is Rosemary and relatively safe in the sea as well.
Used to be a caravan park there once - but now gone.

  2. It looks amazing.
Those tree roots could do with some top soil couldn't they? I saw a reptile's grasping talons in that photo.

    1. I reckon BIG chicken feet, Cynthia.
      Maybe prehistoric predator birds claws.
      Damn right scary, anyhow.

My God that sea is so clean looking.....not a seaweed to be seen.
Pristine is the only word to describe that beach photo.

PS: Are you sure you didn't send "Shanks" in to do some cleaning up???

Gorgeous clean beach, waters edge a bit chilly always is not matter how hot the weather is. No Shanks didn't do any cleaning there, but it is clean sea in that area Colin.

    1. Good to walk on, the sand being so fine squishes between your toes and feels like silk - just wonderful.

    1. Worth a visit Rosie, Table Cape near by has tulips growing in spring and the colours are spectacular, I'm sure your cousin has told you and that Wynyard has a tulip festival as well around that same time.
Haven't many photos of Wynyard as such, it's just normal streets :) if you know what I mean.
