A lady asked if we would like out photo taken, so we didn't refuse.
A couple of the 'Stacks' have collapsed over time.
Not far from the Apostles there is a large visitors centre and nearby helicopter rides along part of the coast. I took the below photo as we were on the move as was the helicopter.
What a gorgeous place to hang out.
ReplyDeleteLovely :)
DeleteA helicopter ride is the best way to get a better view of the place from above. A great place to visit.
ReplyDeleteIt would Nancy, would be great to see most of the coast via helicopter.
DeleteA lovely couple and a beautiful background.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteThanks for the picture of you and husband, great.
ReplyDeleteWell it's good you can see what we look like :)
DeleteSuch a lovely place, Margaret! You and your husband look radiant! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda.
DeleteGorgeous piece of coastline especially with those interesting looking stacks.
ReplyDeleteReally lovely along the Great Ocean Road, even the trees and hills are wonderful, recently there was a big fire that went for many days in the area.
DeleteBeautiful place to take pictures.
ReplyDeleteThe air blowing that day on the coast, waving the hair
Kisses
Was a bit windy but not cold.
DeleteIt is a glorious area. Not big on helicopters though.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of you two as well.
Beautiful area.
DeleteThanks re photo
cool pictures
ReplyDeleteThanks Adam.
DeleteGreat area of Southern Australia.
ReplyDeleteIt was very touristy when I visited and how it got it's name
the 12 Apostles is amusing but far better than the original name
of "The Sow and Piglets" - plus there are only 9 limestone "stacks"
standing - maybe someone thought 9 was 12 and anyhow who will count them - ha ha!
Great photography of a very Aussie region.

Thanks Merle. In all our journey that was the second photo of the two of us someone else took. Did a few selfies which I don't do often.
DeleteWe have never been flying in a helicopter either due to my husband who won't fly.
Great picture...looks a bit windy!
ReplyDeleteIt was a bit windy but thank goodness it wasn't cold.
DeleteThey are nice, I would like to take a helicopter ride but Tim's says he doesn't want to as it costs too much
ReplyDeleteWe have never been on a helicopter ride because my husband doesn't care to fly. I believe it is a bit expensive but then it depends on how much you want to do it.
DeleteNice to see you and your husband. The place looks like I would like to be there too.
