There is something wonderful for me to see the sun go down behind the sea. We see it here on our West Coast and the West Coast of Australia which is a long coastline. The photos are taken on the beach near Geraldton in Western Australia on one of our visits there.
Beautiful and very relaxing those sunset photos next to the sea, enjoying that wonderful environment.
ReplyDeleteBest regards
Always good to see a sunset towards the end of the day.
DeleteI would like to go running along that wonderful beach!
ReplyDeleteBe good on a warm day.
DeleteStunning beach, loving the golden sand.
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice beach Amy, we do have many like that and also nicer.
DeleteSo beautiful! Those sunset shots are fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThank you Angie, I'm often cooking dinner near sunset.
DeleteSuch beautiful photos! Incredibly relaxing and a reminder of the beauty of nature. I can't wait for summer to see the sunrises over the sea again.
ReplyDeleteThat will be good to see the sun come up over the sea.
DeleteFantastic sunset shots, beautiful beach and photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bill.
DeleteSuch beautiful photos
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo-Anne..
DeleteI worked at that local hospital before. Beautiful sunset as usual in WA
ReplyDeleteOh did you. You might have been there when we visited, who knows. Love WA sunsets.
DeleteStunning and beautifully captured Margaret.
ReplyDeleteThank you Denise.
DeleteThat is quite a sunset. Australia's west coast has a different feel to it, especially as you stare out into the Indian Ocean.
ReplyDeleteYou are right on that. Loved watching the sun go down behind the sea, just so different than watching is go over mountains, hills, houses, or the sea here which is a bit hard to see the latter due to not living in western Tasmania.
DeleteOnly seen this area on flights out of Perth to Bali. Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
ReplyDeleteCan't see much from 35,000 feet!
I think a cyclone is approaching that coastline at present so hopefully
the residents have listened to the authorities????
Another rip-roarer of a night last night and the noise!!! - and yesterday the beach at Terrigal had the sea-gulls only!!!
Today it is lovely and sunny.
Your King Island beef is on sale at the butcher at the shopping centre, Erina Fair
and the cost !!!! Still that beef due to the sea kelp makes for the best of steaks.
Melts in your gob!!! Ha ha.
Cheers
Colin
Great steak from the Island and of course steak well good steak is a bit expensive, but I do buy it once in a while but can't manage to eat a large piece since I have become older!
DeleteYes there are 3 cyclones, 2 on the east and one in the west, hope all will be well.
Noise travels of course and also depends on the which way the breeze/wind is blowing.
What a beautiful way to capture the magic of sunsets! There's something truly special about watching the sun dip below the horizon, especially by the sea. Geraldton must have stunning views, and it’s great that you get to enjoy such picturesque moments on the West Coast. The colors of the sky reflecting on the water must be breathtaking! Do you have a favorite memory from your visits there?

Thanks Melody. No favourite time there, all time there was memorable.
DeleteWhat a beautiful sunset!
ReplyDeleteWatching the sun set over the ocean is always magical and your photos captured it beautifully!
Happy Wednesday, dear Margaret!
Thank you Veronica.
DeleteBella puesta de sol. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteThank you J.P.
Delete13,000 ks = a VERY long coast line for one state. I love the ocean and sandy scenes above, but you may also have some photos of Geraldton's coffee shops facing the water. I would stay there most of summer.
ReplyDeleteIt is a long coastline Hels, and so beautiful when driving into the beaches along the way if there is a road.
DeleteI don't have any photos of any coffee shops there I'm afraid as we are not great coffee lovers (I do have a coffee machine though) and do have some photos of Geraldton, a lovely place.
I used to love watching the sunset over the ocean when I lived at Semaphore. All of Adelaide's beaches face west so I can see it from any beach I visit, though I'm usually home by sunset or before these days.
ReplyDeleteOh that is great if all your beaches face west. I hear Semaphore has beautiful beaches, R. I'm usually home at sunset even when travelling I was eating dinner or preparing it.
DeleteBeautiful series of sunset photos.
ReplyDeletePhoto 5 is my favorite this time.
Greetings Irma
No 5 is a magic photo Irma, took several as the sun when down on the horizon over the sea, and chose the one here to show. Thank you.
DeleteHow beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne.
DeleteI agree. Sunset at the ocean is a special experience.
ReplyDeleteAs is the sunrise, a new day.
DeleteNo words needed to describe those photos, they do all the talking for you. Absolutely beautiful!

ReplyDeleteOh my, I can feel how you miss the beach, at least here we don't have to go far to be at the beach. Thank you.
DeleteSandy beach always make me relax...
ReplyDeleteThose beach has a beautiful and clean sand....
It must be very romantic when visit here in the afternoon...
Not many people on the beach at all, most of our beaches are clean as shown in the photos. It is romantic sitting there watching the sun go down.
