Kangaroo Fix

Kangaroos have lived Australia and are native to Australia for about 15 million years. The ancient ancestor has been traced back 24 million years to the Palaeopotorous - the starting point of all known kangaroo species.

They are a symbol of Australia and are featured on the country's coat of arms along with the Emu. Both creatures cannot go backwards - now that's interesting, maybe humans should do the same!

The photo I took of the two kangaroos was taken in a Zoo, and I often wonder when I look at the photo what these two are thinking.  Are they having a natter, is one of them sad - what do you think!

  1. Didn't know that Kangaroo cannot go backwards...always good to learn something new and interesting. That's a beautiful picture and I think they probably gossiped what had been happening in the zoo :-))
