Flowers it seems.

It's been a very long time since I've posted 'flowers', so I've collected a few from the archives to show you.  Most have all grown in our garden at some point in time, some are still.

Rose called 'Peace', then Nerines.

Chrysanthemum, then Agapanthus.

Lily then Dahlia.

Fushia then Freises.

Roses, above Crepuscule then Just Joey.

Roses, above Pink Iceberg then Seduction.

Above, a Lily.

Aquilegia/Columbine or Granny Bonnet, then a rose from somewhere.

  1. They are all beautiful. I never remember the names of rose types, just love all the different colours and scents.

    1. Love the perfume of scented roses too, R. I remember a few names of roses, it was important when we had the Nursery/Garden Centre, my second profession.

    1. They are good for years EC, it's the matter of pruning which can be troublesome with all the thorns.

  5. Peace roses are lovely. I didn't know nerines came in red too. When my niece Jo was born seventeen years ago, my sister bought a Just Joey rose. Sister is lousy at plant care and it must have died.

  7. Did you choose and plant the flowers yourself. The nerines and chrysanthemums are handsome and dense with petals.

    1. Yes Hels, my husband and I chose them. We owned a Nursery and Garden Center for many year - my second Profession, RN being the first.
The nerines seem to have disappeared, but who know they could return of their own free will.

  14. Beautiful flowers from your garden, I especially live the Peace rose as it has grown in both my parents and my grandparents gardens. We have agapanthus at home in Melbourne their blooms remind me so much of our Aussie life. Have a great week.
