Some photos that I forgot to post back in mid spring taken on one of our drives.
These photos were taken at a rest area near Wynyard along the north west coast of the Island. We bought lunch and sat on this seat, watched the little yachts doing their races, we looked towards Tablecape where the Tulips are grown.
The sea is Bass Strait.
That bench is so nicely located!!
ReplyDeleteI would have spent lots of time looking at that gorgeous view.
We sat there a fair while as it was such lovely weather Catarina.
DeleteBeautiful view.
ReplyDeleteThere were houses across the road and they have the same view Anne.
DeleteSo beautiful and relaxing!
ReplyDeleteOh it was Angie.
DeleteMargaret, that's how I like to enjoy nature.
ReplyDeleteOh yes Norma, good view and peace and quiet on a good seat without anyone else around.
DeleteI get moved by the colors; the blue of the sky and water, the white of the yachts, the yellow of the sand, the dark brown of the rocks, the green of the grass. The little bench adds a certain charm to the place.
ReplyDeleteYou are right Duta, so many beautiful colours in this scene/landscape. It's a new seat too.
DeleteA beautiful place to sit and watch whatever, it is such a stunning location.
ReplyDeleteWas lovely Bill.

DeleteThe beach and the sails make a good scene
ReplyDeleteThe sails, all white everyone of them, rather interesting to watch them.
DeleteNot a bad life is it, picnicking and sipping wine in the sun, watching the yachts sail past? After I retired, I imagined that sort of life.
ReplyDeleteIt hasn't happened yet.
Oh Hels, we are fortunate to live not too far from the sea on the Island, in the middle of Tasmania apparently it's only 250 km any way to the sea.
DeleteHope you get the chance to have your dream.
Ahhhh! The serenity! :)
ReplyDeleteAh! Yes, Lee.
DeleteWhat a beautiful view it is there.
ReplyDeleteWonderful to have lunch on the bench and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Greetings Irma

You are welcome Clarisa.
DeleteYou post reminded me of something I had totally forgotten about. We used to have a small sailboat growing up. A Sunflower. You post took me back to the days on the lake in the summer when I was a kid sailing that boat gave me freedom.

It would be good to have the definate 4 season which we also have to a degree, winter is different here, it's cold and hardly snows on the mountains and if it does, it's gone quickly.
