Glass and Food

Last Sunday I had to collect my new glasses which I only wear mainly for reading as I can see well for distance.  11am was my oppointment to collect the glasses but we went for a drive, 5 and 1/2 hours later and over 250 km we arrived home.
It doesn't take long to get them fitted but we ended up going to Scottsdale had lunch then drove to the sea at Bridport on the North East Coast of Tasmania, Australia.

The glasses, then the Cafe.

Inside and the food.  My husband had a mini pizza and I had mini fish and chips for lunch - delicious.

  1. See? It was well worth driving out to pick up the glasses with the beloved. Otherwise lunch would have been boring at home, not delicious in a cafe

    1. Yes it ended up being a full day as many of our drives are, always taking roads we haven't been on and often end up in some beautiful places. We get tired of our old frames and of course we can often see better with new lenses.

    1. I have been using magnifying glasses for read Jo-Anne but they get a bit blurred every now and then. The husband said the mini pizza was to his liking, I'm not really a pizza lover but will eat a few pieces sometimes.

    1. It was a long drive as we only stopped for luch for 1/2 hour. We certainly were hungry when we arrived at Scottdale, there were a few cafes open but we chose the best one.

  10. It's a smart looking cafe. It would be better if they changed EFTPOS available to Cash welcome. Your glasses are pretty.

If I have to go to the optician, I can get there by walking for 10 minutes.
I have to drive 20 kilometers by car just to see the ophthalmologist.
