These captures were taken at Freycinet National Park on the East Coast of Tasmania.
The hills or Mountains are called the Three Hazards.
Behind the Hazards is Wine Glass Bay, the Bay being the shape of a wine glass. It's quite a walk and lots of stairs to see the view and no road into it. To stand on the beach you go by boat.
The photo is borrowed.
The town near here is called Coles Bay and it was the first place in the WORLD to BAN plastic shopping bags in April 2003.
Stunning scenery, thank you very much for sharing them with us.

DeleteMe parece una belleza esa playa. Gracias. Un abrazo.
ReplyDeleteThank you Teresa. It is lovely.
DeleteBrilliant, the colouring of the sea, it is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI like it too Bob.
DeleteMy favourite place in Tassie. I climbed up to the lookout but that was years ago. Doubt I could do it now.
ReplyDeleteWe did it once also so many years ago there wasn't even a good decent path.
DeleteLike you, couldn't do it now.
But it looks stunningly beautiful, especially this bay. I noticed that I like every photo of you, it has so much beauty in it and as you know I love nature, especially the one not littered by man. I support such a ban, plastic bags, bottles - as food waste - is something terrible.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much.
DeleteWhat a fantastic place, the photos are amazing especially the 1st one, what a grandiose landscape.
ReplyDeleteThe 1st one is ever so beautiful I certainly agree with you Maria.
DeleteSo beautiful, lovely photographs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thanks Jan
