A a few photos taken at that Spiky Bridge on the southern east coast of Tasmania. Plenty of blackberries, thistles and several grapes growing along the way.
Well you see I didn't know that about thistles, knew they came from Scotland and I have a brooch which is rather large of the thistle which I used to wear when I used to do Scottish dancing.
Thistles give that wonderful texture and patterns. I can even feel the fluffy sensation on my cheeks when looking at it. Beautiful flora in the region.
Those are pretty wildflowers. Always love the thistles, the blossoms are pretty and that tall plant with the yellow flowers on top is very interesting. Have an enjoyable week Margaret
The blackberries will be good for picking in summer, eating wild and foraging is becoming popular again, although we have always gone "blackberrying" from my childhood right through to the present. Everything old is new again! My sister-in-law once fell into the blackberry bushes - not funny for her but everyone laughed. Oh the memories. Thanks.
Muito bonitas estas fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.
