  4. I suppose trees were planted to replace, at least partially, the ones gone in the fire.

    1. Only saw a small amount of trees that had been planted but nature rejuvenates all by itself.

    1. It is kind of wow, a long way up there. It's wheelchair friendly and there is a mini bus that takes people to and from the walk which is good.

    1. Many people can't Jo-Anne, a mini bus is available to drive those that can't walk the steps and it's wheel chair friendly too.

  9. Such good views from the airwalk. The blackened tree trunks tell the recent history.

    1. Sure is sad about the fires down that way - same with flood, so much damage can be done and is done.

    1. Nice to walk as you say, but so devastating to see the damage of the fires which no one can do a thing about once fire gets burning.

    1. Time will repair, but it won't be in my time unfortunately as it takes some years for those trees to grow so tall.
