A Sunday drive

One Sunday whilst in Huonville we went for a drive around it a big circle or square, some photos of the journey, more later. First photo is the Supermarket area, second an older home in need of repair.  All photos were taken as we moved along in the car.

Tassall is a Tasmanian Salmon producer based in Huonville, Tasmania and other areas of Tasmania. This is one of their buildings.
Below, someones shed.

Some scenery from the car as we drove along and Willy Smith's Apple Shed, an Apple Museum.

    1. Tasmania is known as The Apple Isle among other things, and to have a museum is good to see how apple growing started and grew. Haven't visited it as yet, something to do on another visit to that area Angie.

  2. El área del supermercado tiene buenos aparcamientos. Me gusta mucho la casa de la tercera foto.

    1. Much more attractive house is that one and it's kept reasonably well too.
There is more parking at the side of the supermarket and mostly it's all nearly full with the cars.

    1. Sometimes the photos come out well when moving EC, other times not so good, often miss the subject :)

  4. Quite a vast supermarket! I rather like the two modest houses.

    1. The supermarket is a chain supermarket and are in the larger towns in Australia.

  5. It looks somewhat dry. The second house has a sympathetic side extension but it is a bit spoilt by the porch brickwork. I remember learning at school perhaps the only time Tasmania was ever mentioned, Tasmania grows most of Australia's apples.

    1. Lots of apples grown down that way and cherries other fruit trees too...and that is why we are known as The Apple Isle.

  6. What a beautiful setting.
The supermarket is very large, much bigger than what we have here.

    1. Thanks Teresa, it is sometimes hard to take photographs from the car but then there is nowhere to stop on the side of the road to take them either..
