Oh that's not good then if you get seasick, must say I have never even felt that way, guess I'm lucky...maybe in a little boat bobbing up and down I wouldn't be any good I expect, but of course I don't know...only been in larger ships.
These are beautiful photos. Great view and the boats in the harbor. We have many ports here in our city are four ports and they are full of sailing ships, I live on the IJsselmeer. Greetings Irma
I'm easily seasick--- I once was tapped to do a television commercial on a boat out of San Diego. We had to head back in. The waves were too big and the entire crew was .... well... yes.
That wouldn't have been pleasant, puts a nasty taste in the mouth so to speak, so turned you of being on the water. We have been in rough seas going to Melbourne, Victoria on the Ferry but we never got sea sick, so lucky.
Hello Margaret. But nice places to relax and rest, even looking at such pictures, you can feel relaxed. At my place, small boats and sailboats are slowly appearing on a nearby lake, I hope that there will be an opportunity to post a separate entry about them during the summer. I greet warmly :)
Olá, Margaret, vi você num blog dos amigos em comum e vim conhecê-la. Belas fotos de barcos, muito tranquilo o cenário. Lembrei de meu pai, como adorava! Já estou lhe seguindo. Uma boa semana. Bjus
It looks so restful.
ReplyDeleteLovely down that way Sandi
DeleteEl río cobra vida, con el ir y venir de los barcos. Muy bellas las fotografías, que has tomado en ese lugar.
ReplyDeleteBesos
Boats sure do make a difference to a river..thanks.
DeleteSimply beautiful. Thank you. Again.
ReplyDeleteThanks EC and you are welcome.
DeleteWhat a beautiful view!
ReplyDeleteIt is - thanks Angie.
DeleteQuite a busy little port. I must look at a map to see where the Huon meets the sea.
ReplyDeleteGood idea Andrew, must look myself.
DeleteI always enjoy seeing boats and ships in pictures as I, unfortunately, get seasick while on either of them.

DeleteLovely photos - all looks so peaceful and calm.
ReplyDeleteAlways seems to be peaceful down that way Rosemary,
DeleteNeighbours with a wine glass - I think I'd sidle over!
ReplyDeleteThe neighbours came whilst we were away then obviously went away again before returning after us...they at least did say 'hello'..
DeleteNot catch but farm! The job of the boat is far beyond my imagination.
ReplyDeleteTasmania has many fish farms for salmon, make more money that way.

Lovely to just sit there and take in the peacefulness of the area....look forward to the photos of the sailboats on your blog.

Welcome and thank you..
DeleteThis looks lovely and I always enjoy seeing boats.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy month of June.
All the best Jan
Nice place to sit and watch the river and its boats. There is a bit of controversy over the salmon farms I believe.
ReplyDeleteApparently Diane. Someone always complaining about something, sometimes it's good that they do, other times not good.
DeleteThose sailboats look wonderful. (The second picture)
ReplyDeleteIt does look lovely that boat.
DeleteBellissime le fotografie di queste barche. Le barche mi regalano sempre un senso di pace e tranquillità.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing another lovely area Margaret. I always enjoy seeing boats on the water too :)
ReplyDeleteSe ve lindo el río con los barcos, me encantan. Besos.
