At the Wynyard Caravan Park in March 2020 and the below photos is the view from just a few steps from the Caravan Park....so from the mountains to the sea.
It's wonderful listening to the sea with it's waves rolling in with the tide late at night then early morning.
It's here we heard more about Covid-19 and that is was on/in our Island and had been for several days but not in the area where we were. We stayed where we were, then headed back to Launceston to where our house/home is.
Up on that hill, Table Cape are tulips which are grown and can be viewed in springtime.

That is a lovely place!!! I would walk there for hours and hours... and swim...
ReplyDeleteYou can walk from one side of the river to the other as that sea becomes a river along a bit.

ReplyDeleteThe pathway is excellent for you, all the way into the town and back past where we were, even over a bridge along the other side of the river as the sea goes onto a river, or the river goes into the sea :)

ReplyDeleteNo, that's Tablecape where the tulips are grown, and farmland up there...next post you will see part of the view from Tablecape..

DeleteMy parents had a great view in Devonport of the sea, when I stayed there looking after my mum, then my dad it was a great view - but I sold that house when they passed so someone else has that view.
I would love to camp there!

Jacarandas are being to break loose up here...I love jacaranda season.
They are Scilla Campanulata from my garden and photo taken yesterday, all I did was make the photo to fit and did nothing else.

There was a restaurant behind that seat but it's no more.
