Water Storage

There are two large water storage tanks in Bowen perched up on one of the hills, they can be seen from some distance away.  We found the road up to them and hence these photos.

  1. Our water company is also putting murals on water storage units. Which I love. The biggest and best is not in a position I can photograph it sadly - or get more than fleeting glimpses as we drive by.

  3. Great work, and a town doesn't have to have silos to have large public art.

    1. No it doesn't, there are mural in several streets on the walls but I've posted them before.

  4. Very impressive art work - certainly looks better with the art than just bare and of course the contents would be cool. Well on the "cool" business of the water, one would hope so - ha ha.

    1. One day they might do something to them Nancy, they are certainly unattractive objects, but lovely if painted and kept looking good.

    1. It was great to see these close and find out just what was painted on the tanks.

  13. What a great idea. They look so much more interesting than a concrete water tank. Similar to the silos.
