The Hills of Colebook, Tasmania

Onto Hobart for a family picnic in early March we went through Richmond passing first Campania (see map below) then onto Cambridge next to the Hobart Airport to stay in the caravan park there for 3 nights.  Whilst we were there the temperature was 39 degC.
The view is rather lovely looking down the valley at Campania.
The photos were taken as we moved along.

  6. Thirty nine? Shudder.
It looks as if the area (lovely as it is) could do with some rain too.

    1. Was hot even for me. We turned A/C on in the van and just sat.
One never seems to see those hills really green even if it does rain there.

  8. It wasn't that long ago, yet such temperatures now are hardly imaginable. I hope it is nice and green now.

    1. On these cooler days it’s hard to imagine high temperatures. We forget so easily sometimes.
We went through that way Easter week and no greener.

  9. Looks dry but on the weather map on the ABC news this morning, this area should be getting quite a drenching at present.

    1. Strange about weather maps, our area was supposed to get a lot of rain, it didn’t happen.
If it rains there the hills neve get real green.

    1. It is funny how we remember some things, a photo or just seeing something triggers the brain :)
