Great Oyster Bay

The Great Oyster Bay is rather large on the East Coast of Tasmania and opens up to the Tasman Sea.
This view is from the side of the little creek where the bridge is in my last post.  The first two photos then further south is the Tasman Sea before you get to Triabunna.

  1. We have a week only in Tasmania. I think we needed a month!

    1. The longer the better, many people stay for at least 3 months to a year to see what the island has to offer - I haven't scratched the surface as yet!

  4. It's wonderful to find out more and more about Tasmania--- all I knew previous to discovering your blog was Errol Flynn and Tasmanian Devils. These are lovely.

    1. Thanks.
A real lot more to Tasmania than I can show with photos, but it's something of Tasmania - and that Tasmanian Devil..

    1. Thank you - always good to see the sea and here in Tasmania we are no further than 250km in any area from the sea.

  7. Obviously a very tranquil day. I bet those seas are at many times rather
    ferocious.
I reckon your follower at the top will need a far longer period than a week in
    Tassie!!!!!

    1. Was a peaceful quiet day that day, lovely weather.
Over at Freycinet National Park once we went fishing in a ski-boat which we did often, the sea changed as fast as snapping your fingers from calm to rough, lucky we had a second motor to get back to shore.
