  5. Are they viewing tree houses up some of the trees?
Kids would be in their element............I know I as a kid would
have been up those ladders as fast as a scared goanna for a better
view or a bit of Tarzan fun. I was really NOT a wicked kid (wink wink).
Were you and "Shanks" tree climbers when you were kids??????

    1. I bet you was a terror of a child :)
I would climb trees and jump down onto the horse, no saddle :) when staying on a relatives farm, got into awful trouble.
Don't know if Shanks did anything like that.

    2. Not sure about the terror part.
Well you and I would have made an excellent Tarzan and Jane duo.
My sister Lynette's attempt at being Jane ended up with her falling into the pig pen and on the startled pigs trough and breaking her arm.
Never have I witnessed such dramatics in all my life. I was severely
punished and my pleas of "I didn't push her" and she should swing better fell on parental deaf ears!

  6. Oh, that wasn't what I had in mind when I read the headline. I was thinking steel and safety and gentle slopes. We have a good treetop walk here in Victoria and we walked a great one south of Hobart in the early 2000s.

    1. I know what you mean by steel walk, we have one down south which we visited some years ago, it's been extended so I heard.
The one at Hollybank as you can see is very different and is also used for training purposes.

  8. I'd love to try that! Really. I've walked along the coastal boardwalk on top of the cliffs here and think a treetop walk would be just as fabulous.

  9. My mind (and eyes) are usually in the treetops.

  10. I'll leave the tree top adventure to others braver than I.

I'll just cast my eyes upwards and admire the tree tops from below with my feet firmly on the ground. And through your lovely photos, of course. :)

    1. It's safe to climb, seemed to be plenty of helpers about.
The trees are rather dense in that area so you would be able to see the sky and the ground below.
