Trees,

Trees galore at the Hollybank Nature Reserve.
In the middle of this area is a cricket pitch, it's a big bare area.

  2. What a fabulous place to walk through :)
The cottage looks dwarfed by the tall trees. I like the previous post photo too, I love Holly, but don't seem to be able to grow any, all cuttings die.

    1. It was quite the day we were there, it's a popular place for picnics with some families, the children can run around as long as they don't wander off into the trees...there are walks to be done in the bush in a different area..

  4. The trees seem to be mainly conifers. Is this common?

    1. No it's not common as the trees shown are not native. According to research those trees were imported years ago.

    1. All together they do look rather wonderful as we are not used to seeing so many of those trees all in one place.

  6. It's a very open forest. Must be exotic trees.

  12. A beautiful area. It reminds me of the staff picnics we held at Mt. Nebo back in the early 70s. On the Brisbane Show (Ekka) Wednesday public holiday we declared it a work picnic day. Lots of fun.
