To Sandy Hollow, NSW

After Bathurst in NSW we headed to Sandy Hollow which is a very small rural town with a Caravan Park, so it's here we spent one night.

On the way I took some photos of the scenery out the window as we went around some windy roads as we travelled beside the Wollemi National Park and the back of the Blue Mountains.
You can see in the map below where Sydney is compared to where we stayed in our winter 2017.

  1. Lovely clear blue skies but perhaps not so warm yet. That's a very impressive large rock, or more than one.

    1. Probably a fair bit of rain due to the trees and hills even though other parts of Australia was rather dry at that time.

  7. Such gorgeous scenery. Looks like the kind of drive where you want to stop every couple of kilometres to take it all in. But then you'd be a long time getting where you are going wouldn't you?

    1. For sure David. Often say I wish we could stop for that very same reason as you mentioned, but always just before a bend - usually somehere a bit dangerous.
