Have been watching 'Bates Motel' based loosely on the Psycho movie of Alfred Hitchcock's which he directed and produced in 1960.
Bates Motel is on Netflix (Australia) but only 3 seasons so far, it's a drama/thriller indeed but I wouldn't call it a horror TV Series. It's ever so amazing how Norman Bates mind works with the acting of Freddie Highmore showing it off extremely well.
Max Thieriot, I like him :) plays Norman Bates's half brother Dylan Massett in the Series.
On Tuesday last we had an early Dr.'s appointment to have the Flu Injection but only last years model was available, we skipped that one will wait for new one to arrive.
I often wonder why some people are dumb or indeed don't listen.
My husband told his friend not to phone on Tuesday morning at a certain time as we both would be in the Dr's surgery, husband had turned his phone off but I kept mine on and guess what! my phone rang whilst in the surgery, it was our friend who never phones me. My phone doesn't ring often and I do turn it off if going to a funeral, or a wedding.
For lunch we decided to head up the Tamar River to Beauty Point about a 50 minute drive away, pulled into parking provided for the Beauty Point Riverfront Hotel and had one of the best lunches we've had in a long time. It was actually nicer than what we've eaten at so called elite restaurants here in the city in the evening..
The view was wonderful, photo below.

Happy and healthy easter from Gosia
ReplyDeleteThanks Gosia...same to you too.
DeleteHello Margaret,
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful view from the restaurant. Not bad and I hope the meal was well too.
What a story about your phone..hihi...!!
Sweet greetings and a Happy Eastern,
Marco
Lovely meal and peaceful with that view.
DeleteNeat picture!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill.
DeleteGlorious view - and glad to hear that lunch met/exceeded expectations. And thanks for the flu shot reminder.
ReplyDeleteAlways a pleasure to remind someone to have an injection :)
DeleteHappy Easter
ReplyDeleteThanks and same to you.
DeleteVery good place, besides a good meal, the view of the place is magnificent.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter.
Kisses
Lovely view on a calm day.
DeleteI hope you have a great Easter spent with family and those who care for you
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo-Anne.
DeleteIf my phone rings I am immediately alarmed, rather like the landline phone ringing in the middle of the night. No good can come from either. I agree about meals. Sometimes the most expensive is not the best and we have had our best meals in cheaper places.
ReplyDeleteYou sound like me. When my parents were here on earth my phone was always ringing and always turned it off in Dr. but not these days.
DeleteI've noticed that about meals too, often that happens, cheaper meals are sometimes tastier presented nicely and so on.
Thank you and may you enjoy a glorious Easter.
ReplyDeleteThank you too..
Deleteenjoy your Easter weekend Margaret. i might check out bate's hotel. i am not into horror but thrillers are good. lovely photo and i'm glad you enjoyed your meal with such a pretty view. i had my 'flu injection on thursday and my arm still hurts. :(
ReplyDeleteBates Motel, just love it as a thriller/drama, hope you can find it.
DeleteHope your arm is better now.
Trust you are well..xx
That's a fabulous view and well worth the fifty minute drive. I had my flu injection ten days ago and the arm didn't feel any different until I was washing it in the shower and found the achy spot, which was gone the next day. I've known people who get swelling or bleeding or bruising at the site.
ReplyDeleteI don't bother with Easter Eggs anymore.
Your arm sounds alright then after the injection 10 days ago.
DeleteI once got my arm infected from the flue injection! Was every so hot for days had to have antibiotics mind you.
We don't bother with easter eggs, we get bunnies for the grandchildren.
That is so lovely! Glad you enjoyed your meal. Easter blessings to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mildred and same to you :)
DeleteEaster greetings Margaret - dont eat too many of those Cadburys eggs today♡
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteI like the view of the boats. Very nice scenery. Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteHope you had a good one too.
Beautiful blog.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bob.
DeleteI watched "Bates Motel" when it was on Ch. 7 and I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to Season 4 and am hoping they do show it on free-to-air as they have done with the first three seasons.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're enjoying your Easter, Margaret. :)
Well I never! Didn't see it on Channel 7! Will look for it in the future as it maybe on there before Netflix put the next season on.
DeleteIt is a great view!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, M-w:)
Thanks.
DeleteCell phones have indeed become the bane of civilization. I do some field ecology work for one of the local universities and my first instruction to the students is for them to turn their phones off.
ReplyDeleteGood idea David.
DeleteHappy Easter!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
ReplyDeleteSlightly belated Happy Easter Wishes ...
ReplyDeleteI love the view of the boats.
All the best Jan
