And another Birthday for me today.
This is another area in Bridport and we got out and went for a short walk. You can see the dingy just beyond that yellow sign I waited till it came further into shore as you can see in the second photo.
The seagulls were having a great old time there with the fish, they certainly kept me entertained. Then I captured a tiny little wild flower in the last photo.
You can see Bridport at the top of the map.

Many Happy Birthday Wishes are coming across the miles to you :)
ReplyDeleteNice to see your photographs from around Bridport.
All the best Jan
Thank you Jan. Yes, it's a long way from your place to mine but I received :)
DeleteBeautiful photos, beautiful sea. I found information that about 1,200 Croatians and their descendants live in Tasmania. The community has actively preserved its identity through social clubs, church and sports, and the largest number of Croatian immigrants is located in the capital city of Hobart. Kind regards from Croatia. Jasna
ReplyDeleteYes you are right, Jasna. When I went to school all those years ago we had several Croation girls there and I always mixed with other nationalities, my best friend in school was a Polish girl - now passed. I always went to private school and one of them was in Hobart :)
DeleteNo to je krása! Parádní místo a díky za mapu.
ReplyDeleteMilá Margaret, ze ♥ blahopřeji k narozeninám a přeji hlavně hodně zdraví, štěstí a pohody! 🍀 😀
Thank you very much Hanka.
DeleteHappy Birthday, Margaret!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. The tiny wild flower looks like a Norwegian flower too. The color is lovely.
Have a great day! 🌸
Thank you Marit. I have no clue as to what that sweet little flower is called but I kind of guessed someone might know. 😉
DeleteHappy Happy Birthday, Margaret! Bridport looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Angie.
DeleteDear Margaret, a very Happy, Happy Birthday to you, my dear friend! Your photos are really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda.
DeleteIt seems you had a great time in Bridport.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Margaret!
Yes I did have a good time, Giorgio.
DeleteThank you.
Great photos
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jo-Anne.
DeleteWhat a lovely way to spend a birthday - exercise, fresh air and taking special photos. Much better than sitting inside and filling up on cake.
ReplyDeleteNothing like fresh air and a bit of sun, Hels.
DeleteThank you.
A very happy birthday.
ReplyDeleteI suppose that is a river mouth, quite an impressive opening.
Thank you Andrew.
DeleteYes that is the mouth of a little river which for some reason doesn't seem to go far. It's called Trent Water - Hurst Creek.
And a very Happy 2nd or is it your 3rd 21st!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good spot for fishing.
What do you think of that people at Rottnest Island of the WA coast.
Sometimes I think these people should have a sign on them - "C'On Great
White" and get me - this weekend one - 4 1/2 Metre shark had a feast!
It is Great White feeding ground!! Madness.
Miserable weather here at Terrigal - last night your winter weather came
and we froze. I go to bed a la Aka Eskimo style - ha ha.
Cheers and warm drinks
Colin
It's beyond the 3rd 21st Colin.
DeleteThank you.
Oh yes, some people just don't think when they get into the water, or they maybe think it won't happen to them. A youngish man with two little children and wife, he is now gone. R.I.P.
Not cold here, beautiful weather but becoming cooler later this week apparently. I'm still in summer clothes :)
It looks like a lovely place to have a wander. Happy Birthday.
ReplyDeleteThank you R. It is always nice there and every time we go it's always calm weather.
DeleteI see why you like to visit there. It's so pretty. Happy Birthday, may your wishes come true.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed pretty there, and improvements over the years by the local council.
DeleteThank you.
Such lovely captures, Margaret!
ReplyDeleteThe sea looks so lively, and that little wildflower is a sweet touch.
Wishing you a very Happy Birthday -- may your day be filled with joy and beauty, just like your photos. 🎉💐
Thank you Veronica. Was a little rough where that little dingy was but calmer sea further on.

DeleteEin sehr schöne Tour durch die Landschaft am Meer. Das Bild mit den Möwen ist besonders gut gelungen. Der Meersenf wächst auch bei uns in den Dünen.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteSo that is the name of that plant, sea mustard, I'll look it up. Thanks for that.
I would go there too, it's so nice looking.
ReplyDeleteGood place to go and look at the sea, Mary.

It is Teresa, just lovely there.
DeleteIt has that sea change feel to it. Love the water
ReplyDeleteIt is nice there and it looks deep too.
DeleteA lovely way to mark a birthday — a return trip to Bridport paired with a relaxed walk sounds like exactly the kind of simple, memorable celebration that stays with you. Waiting for the dinghy to come closer also adds a nice sense of patience and attention to the moment, which makes the scene feel even more alive and personal.
