Ben Lomond taken through the window at home here in Launceston, Tasmania. There certainly has been some good snowfalls in the mountains and high country in Tasmania this winter, however none here at home as usual. Now we are in spring the wind has come with days being a little warmer but the wind makes you feel cold.
Cradle Mountain above and below which is along the northwest coast and inland. There is a Hotel and a caravan park there and a bus shuttle that takes you to the base of the mountain to take walks on different paths in the area but not advised when the weather isn't the best. The photo below when there is not snow on Cradle Mountain. I borrowed Cradle Mountain with snow and the photos below which we all taken in the high country. The photo without snow is mine.
Beautiful and captivating photos, Margaret. I love ❤️ winter and snow ❄️ Your photo with the blue 💙 and reflections is stunning.
ReplyDeleteStunning photos, Margaret. It's almost the end of summer here, with very high temperatures and a lot of heat. Seeing these snowfalls and beautiful landscapes is a real pleasure.
ReplyDeleteBest regards.
Beautiful photos of the mountains with snow. You have a very short winter where you live. I wish it was like that here too. Enjoy the spring!
ReplyDeleteMargaret, over here today is September 21st, spring begins and although it rained all night, today is somewhat better. The youth, no matter what, is preparing to celebrate it. A hug
ReplyDeleteHello Margaret,
ReplyDeleteWow, it's already snowing :)
It's still raining very little in Türkiye, but I enjoyed seeing the snowy landscapes. Thank you for sharing the wonderful photos with us. Happy Sunday. ♥
