Ciao Margaret un saluto veloce per augurarti un buon ferragosto, da noi il 15 è festa della Madonna Assunta in cielo e ci sono molte processioni in tutto il territorio nazionale. Un abbraccio Angelo.
There are signs in every park in the world telling people not to feed the ducks and they universally have no effect! I think that a special gene is activated in grandparents that urges them, as an inherited obligation, to take their grandchildren to feed the ducks. And if there’s no enforcement of the regulation, as there seldom is, who’s to stop them?
The birds seem to love the park at Punchbowl. I think the signs do make people think and maybe not give ducks too much to eat. One good sign, which I showed recently, said along the lines, If you must feed the birds, here are some foods which won't harm them. Naturally bread wasn't on the list.
Beautiful shots! :)
ReplyDeleteDespite you are not permitted to feed the ducks., I think the ducks can seek and find food for themselves
