A few flowers in bloom in the garden so far this winter along with the fungi underneath the Magnolia tree here at home.

The fungi were in a difficult place, so they are not that clear.

The camelliaflowers are very beautiful. I have 'Margaret Davis' too!
ReplyDeleteOh do you now :) I'm interesting to see yours when it comes into flower later for you to see if it's like mine, as to how much dark pink there is in it as it varies from one winter to the next down here, depending how cold it is.

ReplyDeleteUp here - and the storm of storms on Saturday afternoon which knocked out powerlines etc etc. No power for over 12 hours and some houses knocked off foundations. Almost a hole in my roof where my head hit. The thunderclap
was the loudest I have ever heard.
I suspect I'll have to get a new TV !!!
I wish I had a money tree.
The beach front and the surf are both person free - surf way up and dangerous.
Thankfully people here are showing common sense.
Now off to Pub for libations!!!!!
Might run into Bill Clinton again as I did years ago at Port Douglas - where
we had a drink and lunch together - Hillary was out looking at Aboriginal markings etc. My God Bill can eat!!! Thankfully no ice cream with his steak and chips etc.
Yes - Yanks do have ice cream with steaks - YUCK!!!
Bill tried crocodile - I told him how horrible it was - one bite and Bill agreed - ha ha.

DeleteSo you reckon that your TV has had the biscuit, that's not good then.
Sounds like dreadful weather you have had, let's hope it improves and people don't suffer with no houses, and electricity, we miss it when we don't have it.
Never had crocodile, can't recall it being on the menu up north even at Port Douglas when we ate there at the Yacht club a few times whilst holidaying there.
All TV's are now working - it was a knocked out transmitter station up the coast.
DeleteThe surf was really rough and furious yesterday and no fools were in the
water, I can assure you the waves would have tossed them to kingdom come!
Today is perfect and the water dragon lizards are reappearing
after their winter hibernation. The new babies haven't appeared yet.

DeleteSnow, a fair bit of snow has fallen NOT here in Tasmania but in the State of New South Wales inland (behind Sydney) and I believe also in certain parts of Queensland and inland, more in the southern area. Most of the places where snow fell was on the Tablelands, and more elevated towns in New South Wales = NSW.
