Big Possum Beach

Home again after Easter. Beautiful days before Easter and lovely days after, the weather of the Easter week wasn't the best but it was good to see people out and about in the rain and cold for those few days.

Photos are of Big Possum Beach about 900m long near Port Arthur, Tasmania taken in Summer time.

The last photo was taken along the beach further south.

Where the Heart is is Big Possum Beach.

  6. Glad you had a great trip to such a beautiful area. I really like your new header of what I believe is a Green Rosella Parrot.

You are correct with the Parrot's name. A native parrot of Tasmania and Bass Strait Islands.

    1. A lot of space there and in Tasmania itself, most beaches do not have a lot of people on them.

  14. It's a very sheltered beach by how it appears on a larger map. Big Possum Beach. One can only guess.

    1. Does look sheltered on the map, but as we know Andrew when the wind gets up it's windy no matter what beach, even the sheltered ones.

    1. Oh really. We have a town called Texas near the border of New South Wales (NSW) and Queensland, we have passed through the town several times over the years but it's only a really small town.
