Santa, Christmas Eve

Santa came via the Jet boat on the river that's at the bottom of the caravan park as usual on Christmas Eve, presents were handed out to children staying in the park.

The park owner below along with Santa who is wearing a life jacket and has his sack over his shoulder.

Christmas lights on the caravan they blinked.  The photo was taken late in the evening however I should have taken the shot when dark.  We were opposite the river once again.

    Buen jueves.
    Un abrazo.

  5. It looks like an organic outing with Santa in the outdoor environment instead of inside a shopping mall. Caravan road trip is always fun. You seem to have a good time

  6. I wonder if other caravan parks put such an effort into Christmas.

    1. Never heard of one doing similar or the same Andrew. Usually someone would tell us or have told us if they did. There are people from all over Australia there in Christmas time, holiday time and Easter.

  8. I have to get used to a Christmas in the summer.
With us it is dark and cold when Santa Claus comes.
Now I think he's really hot in his suit.
    I enjoyed your photos.

    1. Must seem strange to you Christmas being in summer. I can only imagine Christmas in winter.

  9. I always like to see Santas. The owner looks quite a guy himself! They both make for good pictures. Having kids around as audience and as gifts' recipients is a bonus.

    1. The owner he's a good man, he milks cows just a few, has sheep, ducks, chickens, a few Tasmanian Devils which are in an enclosure and gives talks everyday at 4pm about these animals and more for the children and adults too.

  18. Hello Margaret
Santa Claus and green juicy grass - it's an unusual sight for me, after all, in my area Christmas and Santa Claus are always associated with winter and snow. Well, but you have a beautiful Christmas in the colors of summer and these also have their own charm. Kind regards and thank you for the kind words.

    1. It's a bit strange to us as well, the life jacket but if you come by a small boat it's law to wear one.
