Jessie

Friday we took delivery of our new vehicle, same as the last one but latest model and the colour is black again.
Yesterday I leased a new phone, a Samsung Galaxy S10+ with 160 GB of data each month - wow, who would have ever thought that that much data would ever be available, and mind you if you use over that amount of data it then becomes slow.  Don't think I will ever use that much data.  I could do though whilst on holiday later in the year with being away 3-1/2 months, will use the phone for streaming Netflix and my laptop, the phone will be a modem. I rather enjoy watching Netflix or TV shows on my mobile phone.   Each to his own.

Before I wander back to February and March holiday I wanted to share this song from YouTube sung by Jessie Buckley from Ireland.
The song called Boulder to Birmingham is sung with so much feeling that I wasn't surprised seeing tears fall down Jessie's face.
The video was uploaded this year.
I realise that many of you may not like it :)

    1. Jessie does have a well controlled voice. Apparently Andrew Lloyd Webber plus Barry Humphries were in her life in the early stage of her career when she entered a talent quest when Jessie was 18..

    1. It is a favourite song of mine now, heard a few other singers sing it but wasn't wrapped until I heard Jessie.
      I'm enjoying my toys :)

  8. That is the big vehicle, not your smaller one? Yes, I suppose you could chew through that amount of data if using your phone as modem for screens and watching a lot, but it is a large allowance. Leasing a phone. That is interesting.

    1. The vehicle we tow the van with.
Leased my previous phone as well, it's cheaper than the normal plan I would have been on plus can take the phone back and get a new one at 12 months or anytime after with a small fee..as I used my phone a lot it was a good idea to lease again.

  9. She's wonderful! Now that I'm retired all I use my phone for is looking up what else the director of the movie has done--- or an actor. Or what the weather's going to be. I need to remember Jessie Buckley.

Pleased you like Jessie - recently in a movie I believe a musical that has a country feel about it. Jessie is also an actress.

Beautiful bridge is that one -roughterrain crane - .

    1. I too listen to music according to my mood :) most of us do, I believe.
Never thought I would ever have a phone with so much data available, surely won't use it all each month.
Your Samsung is just fine :)
