Yesterday I leased a new phone, a Samsung Galaxy S10+ with 160 GB of data each month - wow, who would have ever thought that that much data would ever be available, and mind you if you use over that amount of data it then becomes slow. Don't think I will ever use that much data. I could do though whilst on holiday later in the year with being away 3-1/2 months, will use the phone for streaming Netflix and my laptop, the phone will be a modem. I rather enjoy watching Netflix or TV shows on my mobile phone. Each to his own.
Before I wander back to February and March holiday I wanted to share this song from YouTube sung by Jessie Buckley from Ireland.
The song called Boulder to Birmingham is sung with so much feeling that I wasn't surprised seeing tears fall down Jessie's face.
The video was uploaded this year.
I realise that many of you may not like it :)
Bonita canción Margaret. Que pases unas buenas vacaciones.
ReplyDeleteAbrazos.
Thanks.
DeleteWe will when the time comes to have a long holiday - in late July.
I have no data at all on my phone. Voice and text works fine for me.
ReplyDeleteThat's fine, each to his own needs and requirements.
DeleteI like it!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
: )
That's good, I thought I might be the only one that did like Jessie singing that song.
DeleteI thought we were going to see your new vehicle!!
ReplyDelete: )
Oh, will take a photo and post :)
DeleteNeues Auto wo sind die Bilder ?? :). Für mein Handy habe ich 2 GB Daten pro Monat aber über den Anschluss im Haus kann ich eine unbegrenzte Menge an Daten nutzen. Schöne Musik von Jessie Buckley.
ReplyDeleteNoke
My partner is happy to watch TV/movies on his phone. Not for me.
ReplyDeleteThat is one gorgeous voice.
Jessie does have a well controlled voice. Apparently Andrew Lloyd Webber plus Barry Humphries were in her life in the early stage of her career when she entered a talent quest when Jessie was 18..
DeleteI’ve always loved that song. Beautiful voice. Enjoy your new toys.
ReplyDeleteIt is a favourite song of mine now, heard a few other singers sing it but wasn't wrapped until I heard Jessie.
DeleteI'm enjoying my toys :)
That is the big vehicle, not your smaller one? Yes, I suppose you could chew through that amount of data if using your phone as modem for screens and watching a lot, but it is a large allowance. Leasing a phone. That is interesting.
ReplyDeleteThe vehicle we tow the van with.
DeleteLeased my previous phone as well, it's cheaper than the normal plan I would have been on plus can take the phone back and get a new one at 12 months or anytime after with a small fee..as I used my phone a lot it was a good idea to lease again.
She's wonderful! Now that I'm retired all I use my phone for is looking up what else the director of the movie has done--- or an actor. Or what the weather's going to be. I need to remember Jessie Buckley.
ReplyDeleteThe old brick bridge is wonderful. Have a nice driving! Happy Sunday to you.
DeleteBill...We all use our phones for different things :)
DeletePleased you like Jessie - recently in a movie I believe a musical that has a country feel about it. Jessie is also an actress.
Beautiful bridge is that one -roughterrain crane - .
Thanks.
Nice van, beautiful song.
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeleteLOL! I too thought we were going to see your new vehicle!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Will get a photo and show...it’s much the same as our other one.

I too listen to music according to my mood :) most of us do, I believe.
DeleteNever thought I would ever have a phone with so much data available, surely won't use it all each month.
Your Samsung is just fine :)
