Ah! The Sea, and how beautiful it is in this area of The Gardens. The sand is very fine and white.
As one drives along the gravel road you see a sign or two to the beach, so we ventured down one of these roads a very short distance and came across this beach within The Bay of Fires which goes for some distance up and down the east coast of Tasmania.
In some of these off roads there are camping areas with loos, so hence the public are permitted to 'free camp'. Each morning they wake up and can see the sea, a few steps and in the water.
I love these pictures!!!! How I miss the beach!
ReplyDeleteAnd the colour of the ocean.... I could spend weeks there
Gorgeous colour of the sea in reality, much nicer that the photos.
DeleteI think many people do spend some time there along that beach as there are several places to put the caravan or a tent.
Those waves crashing onto the beach are lovely.
ReplyDeleteLovely and clean sea, the colour is magic in reality.
DeletePretty beach
ReplyDeleteHave to agree with you Adam.
DeleteMust be an idyllic place to camp.
ReplyDeleteMany people rave about it, we haven't camped there.
DeleteUn buen despertar ,es poder mirar por la ventana nada más que salir de la cama, de esas vistas del mar.
ReplyDeleteBesos
Definitely. To look out the caravan window and see the sea right there, wonderful.
DeleteAs a child we never camped any other way. If it wasn't free we moved on. Loos were luxury.
ReplyDeleteLove these scenes and am reminded (again) that I really need to go back to the sea.
Never camped back then as didn't have the opportunity, to me that was real camping.
DeleteIt's nice that there are still some things free in life.
ReplyDeleteThat's true Andrew, most thing you have to pay for.
DeleteWe think camping on the beach gives the best sleep. Going to sleep to the sound of the surf is the nicest lullaby. Pretty white sand.
ReplyDeleteAlways good to hear the sea, some places we stay at it can be heard so well, other places not at all.
DeleteIt is wonderful fine sand as many Tasmanian beaches have that same type of sand, just a few don't.
Beautiful pictures! Though I love mountain over beach, but after seeing these picture I like to vist some beach. I didn't visit any beach in long time.
ReplyDeleteThanks Krishna.
DeleteAlways good at the sea, but I too like the ruggedness of the mountains.
I do love the beach and the free camping area looks good too. I have so much on my list to do now, might have to extend our trip! You have really captured those waves. I love to take photos of the waves but they are often hard to get just right.
ReplyDeleteMany free campsites within Tasmania. Heaps of people free camp as it offsets the Spirit fee for many people.
DeleteWaves, it's the matter of pressing the camera button at the right time, not always easy.
Such lovely photos
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo-Anne.
DeleteBeautiful pictures, look´s really nice...
ReplyDeleteHave a happy week!
Titti

DeleteSo beautiful:) The water is an amazing shade of blue, almost a green/aqua.
ReplyDeleteA lot of our sea water is that colour which is very pretty.
