Beaches at The Gardens.

Ah! The Sea, and how beautiful it is in this area of The Gardens. The sand is very fine and white.
As one drives along the gravel road you see a sign or two to the beach, so we ventured down one of these roads a very short distance and came across this beach within The Bay of Fires which goes for some distance up and down the east coast of Tasmania.
In some of these off roads there are camping areas with loos, so hence the public are permitted to 'free camp'. Each morning they wake up and can see the sea, a few steps and in the water.

    1. Gorgeous colour of the sea in reality, much nicer that the photos.
I think many people do spend some time there along that beach as there are several places to put the caravan or a tent.

    1. Definitely. To look out the caravan window and see the sea right there, wonderful.

  4. As a child we never camped any other way. If it wasn't free we moved on. Loos were luxury.
Love these scenes and am reminded (again) that I really need to go back to the sea.

  6. We think camping on the beach gives the best sleep. Going to sleep to the sound of the surf is the nicest lullaby. Pretty white sand.

    1. Always good to hear the sea, some places we stay at it can be heard so well, other places not at all.
It is wonderful fine sand as many Tasmanian beaches have that same type of sand, just a few don't.

    1. Thanks Krishna.
Always good at the sea, but I too like the ruggedness of the mountains.

  8. I do love the beach and the free camping area looks good too. I have so much on my list to do now, might have to extend our trip! You have really captured those waves. I love to take photos of the waves but they are often hard to get just right.

    1. Many free campsites within Tasmania. Heaps of people free camp as it offsets the Spirit fee for many people.
Waves, it's the matter of pressing the camera button at the right time, not always easy.
