Closer to home!

We are in a place called Eden, leaving in the morning for Lakes Entrance which will mean we are into the State of Victoria and 2 nights sleep before boarding the ship to home, just over 4 months of travelling.
To the Spirit the ferry to take a look if you wish.

Eden is not too far from Sydney.
The photo I'm showing you is of a lighthouse at Kiama 120klms south of Sydney.  It's a pretty little town but nowhere did we find a place to park to take photos in the town it's-self.

  2. We did not get quite as far as Kiama but close. I now know all about parking issues for RVs and caravans, having experienced it myself. I can't remember where, but one country town stated it was an RV friendly town.

  8. Many a very YOUNGER days - like up to 5 years were family holidays just after WW2 at Kiama. Far back then quite a few relations on my Grandmother (Mum's Irish mob side) lived in the Kiama area so accommodation was never a problem - ha ha.
I think this really was where Dad started my surfing lessons!
Getting close to home now. Shanks will be pretty glad to have that van
removed from the 4WD, I bet.
    Cheers

  12. That is bad when you can't find a parking spot to visit a town. I enjoyed our coastal trip down there. 4 months on the road. I don't know if I could do that. I know Bill couldn't so I should stop wondering. I still think you will be happy to be home soon.

    1. Not good if no parking. Plenty up at the light house though.
4months is a long time to live in a caravan plus travel. So many people sell their homes and go travelling, all ages with babies also..
